I express here my profound gratitude
to State Ministers, Ambassadors, Statesmen
& State Dignitaries and Athletes of World Renown
who, through their grace, kindness & encouragement,
have helped Singapore Women's Cycling Team launch
an unprecedented Asian sporting event in this part
of the world. These men & women of great merit
taught me the virtue of selflessness, and of humility,
wherein I found courage to carry out this initiative for
my country, our neighbours, our women & our children.
